About This Project

This project focused on developing forward-looking apparel guidelines for Playboy, designed to evolve the brand beyond logo-driven merchandise and into a contemporary fashion space. The work established a clear visual and stylistic framework that balanced Playboy’s cultural legacy with modern silhouettes, materials, and styling cues relevant to a younger, fashion-aware audience.

 

The guidelines and concepts informed multiple apparel directions, including statement graphics, heritage-inspired treatments, and lifestyle-focused pieces, creating a flexible system that could scale across seasons and partners. These design foundations were later realized through licensed collections with retailers such as PacSun and Missguided, demonstrating the adaptability and commercial viability of the framework across both menswear and womenswear markets. The result positioned Playboy Apparel as a fashion-driven brand with lasting relevance rather than a novelty or trend-based offering.
