This project uses AI to explore early-stage visualization through real-world location photos and video, expanding them into speculative environments and narrative moments designed to translate into a 3D animated or videogame-like world. The work plays off a universally familiar feeling: how a stopped escalator can feel like the end of the world. A playful exaggeration, framed as a small-scale “day the earth stood still” moment.
AI was used to extend locations, test atmosphere, and build visual continuity, while also generating original music, sound effects, and audio textures to support the tone. Together, the visuals and sound function as a compact world-building study, showing how AI can help rapidly flush out ideas, mood, and direction across multiple creative layers.
