88: The Visual Album was built as an immersive, analog-inspired world rooted in the cultural texture of 1988. Working with Jessica Lownde’s team and Production Designer: Andrei Zamfir, I designed a series of physical props and visual elements that brought the album’s themes to life on set.
Custom magazines, mixtapes, VHS tapes, stickers, and ephemera were created to feel like authentic artifacts from the era (with a bit of a dreamlike, fantasy twist), functioning as narrative devices rather than background dressing. These pieces helped ground the music videos in a tactile, memory-driven world where design, storytelling, and music merged into a cohesive visual experience.
